I was recently speaking with a fellow MRR member, who was talking about how to profit with resale rights.

There are a couple of ways obviously, a membership, but that market is becoming over saturated, and unless you offer something ‘unique’ you will be viewed as yet another.  I absolutely urge anyone to offer something unique to the market, hosting, PLR, articles, graphics, whatever it is….it will set you apart from the rest.  This is of course if you want to venture into the membership arena.

Selling products, I hear from a lot of people regarding this matter, competition lowering the prices to $1 or something stupid like that.  I have been guilty of that too, but these days my main focus is being a provider with the MRR Membership, so no time to actually sell.

But if were selling, and faced with such incredible competition or a price war, this is what I would think:

“Its not just about the product, its about the extras that make a difference”

How can you possibly beat others selling the same thing for a $1?  Bonuses, make the offer far greater than your competitors.  The lazy marketer will upload, set things up and sell for a BUCK, the smart marketer will work out a strategy, what bonuses to include, are they related, eBooks, software, scripts, graphics etc, anything that will make you stand out will help.

I believe this is actually critical with any resale rights marketer, and you need to start thinking outside of the box.  Rather than be like everyone else, stamp your own twist on things so that your customers KNOW you over-deliver.

Competition is immense in the resale rights industry, especially when you have a site that sits at the top of the search engines selling everything for pennies, it’s their way of trying to dominate the market, so it’s imperative you give resale rights a fresh look.

Just remember to OVER-DELIVER, nothing speaks louder than a marketer who goes that extra mile.

Today an online buddy of mine reminded me that it’s been a year since I took over MRR, transformed it, revamped, opened the doors again, and have been working on MRR every single day for over 12 months straight!

Staggering when I think about that, but it’s not just me who has been running the show, which may surprise some.  Matt and Jennifer have been a big help in reaching our target of daily additions.  Trust me when I say adding something every single day is NOT easy, in fact it adds a whole new level stress that I have never encountered before!  But thankfully I have come to live with MRR and MRR has come to live with me.

Another milestone for MRR is that 400 members are inside, and far exceeds my expectations.  A lot of that has to go down to affiliates, who have been fantastic this year, and I almost fall off of my chair each month, on the 15th when I realize how much commission has been generated!  Kudos to those affiliates for reaching those levels.

I just want to thank everyone who has been a part of MRR for so long, team members, but most importantly MRR Members.  Without MRR Members this membership would not be half the membership it is, with your requests, advice, suggestions we simply could not keep doing what we do without your help.

On another note, PrivateLabelFuel.com has had a major revamp, and it was a case of having too, I won’t go into the reasons why, but we had to jump on it ASAP.

What we have done with PLFuel is turn it into a PLR hub sort of speak, where we have the freedom to constantly bring fresh PLR to your plate each month.  As soon as we receive it from the copywriters you will have it.

At the moment, the membership consists of a few different components:

The Main Product - HIGH END all the way!  Videos, Report, WP Theme, PSD Files
PLR Reports - As soon as we receive the reports, you will get them too
PLR eBooks - Once again HIGH END content
PLR Articles - Something we really want to explore more, so we plan on any a bundle each month

Wow, it’s been far too long since I updated the MRR blog, BAD boy!  Sorry about that folks.

What’s going on with PrivateLabelFuel.com?  I have already received several emails regarding our sister site, well as an MRR member you will have noticed that a very unfortunate event happened, to this day I am still unsure as to how it happened.

After 1.5 years of producing two PLR eBooks per month we are completely revamping PLR Fuel, and you can check out the site here:  www.PrivateLabelFuel.com

As you can see it’s a brand new design, but not just that, you will get an idea of what is going on, and what will happen each month with the site.

The new move will see greater flexibility to the MRR network, and we do intend to go as far as we can go with it.

Essentially, each month PLR Fuel or MRR members will receive one MAIN product, it’s extremely high-end too, PLR videos all the way, but not just that, the graphics are simply stunning.  The main product could easily hold up the membership, but our plans are far bigger than that.

Here’s the deal.  The main product will be added around the 16th of each month, but alongside that we will be working on PLR articles, PLR reports, PLR eBooks and anything else we can come up with.  The additional PLR content will be updated when it arrives, there is no set date for the extra benefits.

PLR Fuel has operated for 1.5 years, with hundreds of members, the content/products we add to PLR Fuel will not be included inside of the MRR Membership, so you will have to login.

If you’re a PLR Fuel member you will already have been notified of the change, as for MRR Members you may have seen our note, but come closer to the 16th we shall let everyone know.

I will name no names in this blog.

If you received my email regarding a rights violation by two so called marketer’s, you will be pleased to know that the matter was dealt with.

That is great news, but….how many more times will people put up with this?  How many more times will creators/publishers put up with their products being thrown to the wolves?  How many more times will resellers watch someone trying to wipe them out?  I presume most got my email, and you know exactly which site I am talking about.

The reason this whole saga got my blood boiling so badly is not because he was selling the product for peanuts, it was about his clear intentions.

1 - Changes the license terms to suit his business
2 - This affected MRR members and me
3 - Has no feelings about hurting those that setup their own business around that package
4 - Continues to rip off product creators and fellow marketer’s, you and me

As one member said “NO WONDER all the people who are newbies are so afraid to get involved in marketing because of all the horror stories. but it is such a shame that GREED ruins things for everyone like this….” and that is absolutely spot on.

There is competition, personally I have fellow resale rights memberships around my ears, feeding from me, sometimes I feed from them, the competition is intense, but one thing I do not do is go out of my way to try and nullify that competition by bending the rules to suit me.  But this guy brought a new meaning to the word competition in my book.

What worries me the most about this whole shenanigans, is that anyone new to the net, trying to make some money, may stumble across that site.  They pickup a product for $0.99, they set everything up to start taking orders.  In a couple of weeks time they receive a Cease and Desist letter from the creator, stating they are breaking copyright laws, and if they do not comply a DMCA form will be put together and forwarded to several absuse departments.

The site in question just earned $0.99, great!  You’re in the money now buddy!  But the poor customer doesn’t know which way to look, and it is more than likely they will just quit trying online.

Copyright laws are broken all the time, heck, the worse case that affected me was when someone copied every single line of text from my sales page, INCLUDING graphics and pasted directly on to theirs.  This has happened several times now, and each time I pull out a DMCA form.  If any member reading this wants to know more about the DMCA form then please write me.

I guess my whole rambling here is all about a site, that is considered an authority, that thousands of people will be introduced to, and while that customer may pickup products for pennies, that site is hurting the industry more than any other.  It creates a snowball affect, it affects you, MRR members, and other resellers.

I am no angel, I have devalued products, I have misread licenses, then had to back track and let members know, even though that is rare, it has happened, but I always hold my hand up and say sorry.  I DO NOT go out of my way to compile new PDF licenses, plaster my links all over it, and change the license terms!

No, I am not a fan of that site, especially when he told me this:  “I make more money than any other resale rights company, show me respect” that just sums him up.

Wow, what a week for me.  Hours upon hours to get this ready for folks to resell as their own.  The videos needed converting, Ewen Chia specifically asked for his name to be removed, THEN I received a hoax email!  Not to mention I continued to add something everyday.  No rest for the wicked as they say.

But, I am very pleased to hear the great feedback by folks on this.  I do believe it is one of the best packages available with resell rights today.

I have taken it a step further by now turning it into a monthly membership, with new blueprints and videos planned for each month too.  Resell rights included again!

This is a fantastic opportunity for MRR Members to tap into online coaching.  Starting a recurring membership.  With more people heading online to seek their fortune, they will need to start somewhere, and this is perfect for that purpose.  Heck, 99% of marketer’s make their money by telling others HOW to make money!  This is no different.

Well, after days and days of hard work downloading - uploading - converting - editing - editing graphics, we have FINALLY added Ewen Chia’s Millionaire System to MRR.

I won’t beat around the bush, it was a BIG task, as all videos came in AVI format, and there are tons of videos included!

I have had to take some heat from folks “Where is it????”  or “You’re so slow!!!!” well there is a simple answer to those that complained.

Unlike some out there, including fellow memberships, we have honored what Ewen requested, that his name not be used on any of the videos or graphics etc

Yes we purchased this, but as always the licenses are VERY restricting.

I have to say though, I do believe Jeremy Burns delivered one of the best packages to date with this release.  There are at least four products that are superb.

The desktop software in my opinion is awesome, there are two eBooks I really like, but being a budding graphics designer (Only just learning the ropes) I was more interested in the photoshop actions that came with this package.

Photoshop isn’t for everyone, the price can turn a lot of people off, and I am not surprised.  But if you have Photoshop then I believe you will love those action scripts.

Getting these to members proved difficult, very difficult, but those who purchased have made a smart move however….some members have already written me “Some joker is selling them for $3.99 a piece” I understand the frustration there.

We normally provide, and dont normally sell anything, but I understand where members are coming from with their frustrations.

I just received word that Barry Richardson has passed away.

I am truly shocked, and incredibly saddened by this news.  I have spoken to Barry several times in the past, and knowing he is no longer with us has shaken me.

I would like to offer my sympathies to Barry’s family, and wife Martha, I can only imagine how you must feel at this time.

From everyone at MRR you are in our prayers.  Rest In Peace Barry, you will be missed.
